BEAM with Baby: Winter of the Crow is a Soviet-era thriller in which Joan, trapped behind the Iron Curtain, is drawn into a deadly game of espionage involving student rebels and government operatives. With trust impossible and the stakes potentially catastrophic, the tension risks spiralling into World War III.
The film features a lead performance by Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread, Another Year), with support from Tom Burke (Strike, Black Bag). It is based on a short story by Nobel Prize-winning author Olga Tokarczuk (Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead).
This screening is part of the BEAM with Baby programme, designed for parents and carers attending with young children.
