The second semi-final of the Battle of the Bands competition features Dan Thomas & The Hired Help alongside a second act to be confirmed.
Dan Thomas is a singer-songwriter with a background in Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. His music blends the energy of Punk Rock with the storytelling of Folk and Country. Since releasing his debut album, This Is Where You'll Find Me, in April 2026, he has assembled The Hired Help to bring the full live power of his sound to the stage.
The winner will be decided by a combination of audience votes and independent judges, who will assess acts on songwriting, stage presence and overall performance. Audience members will receive a voting slip on entry, which must be handed in to cast their vote. The winning act will be announced on the night once all bands have performed.
Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
