by The Corn ExchangeCorn Exchange20 Mar 2027
Strictly UB40 were founded in late 2013 with one purpose: to get audiences grooving from the first song. Their set draws on choice cuts from UB40's catalogue, spanning Signing Off through to Promises and Lies, alongside faithful interpretations of the internationally renowned Labour of Love cover series.
The band delivers a multi-cultural blend of reggae, ska and rocksteady, and their members have played alongside some of the biggest names in UK reggae and ska, including Steel Pulse, The Specials and The Selecter. Strictly UB40 have received direct acclaim from UB40 themselves for their stagecraft, including praise from UB40 founder member and saxophonist Brian Travers.
