Battle of the Bands – Semi-Final 1 features two acts competing for a place in the final.
Damsel in Disgrace are a Cambridge-based four-piece female-fronted rock band blending grunge, punk and pop into a heavy yet melodic sound. The band is fronted by Eva Jade Landon, an award-winning artist with a background in international touring, radio airplay and film soundtrack work.
Syndicate Niamh are a four-piece alternative rock band led by vocals and piano, combining a high-energy sound with melodic, introspective songwriting.
Audience members will receive a voting slip on entry and independent judges will also score each act on songwriting, stage presence and overall performance. The winning band will be announced on the night after all acts have performed. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
