The exhibition marks a bittersweet farewell to Anastasia’s time teaching oil painting at Courtyard Arts, where she has inspired countless students with her passion for the medium.
A graduate of the University of Hertfordshire, Anastasia began her career in the film industry as a sculptor and prop maker before moving into fine art. Her work has featured in both local and national exhibitions, including Sculptures in the Landscape at the Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park and the RBA Annual Exhibition at Mall Galleries, where she received the John Lynn Commemorative Award for a Young Artist. This year she also designed and painted a bench for the River Lea Art Trail, now installed by the riverside in Ware. Alongside exhibiting, Anastasia undertakes commissions for portrait paintings and sculpted busts.
