Courtyard Arts is delighted to host the Eastern Region Textile Forum’s latest exhibition, My Three Words – Voyages of the Imagination. The work displayed invites visitors to embark on a creative journey inspired by the global location system What3Words, which divides the planet into tiny 3m x 3m squares, each identified by a unique trio of words.

From these random coordinates, 35 artists have set out on imaginative voyages — some beginning with a cherished place and discovering the words that define it, others starting with three intriguing words and uncovering where in the world they lead. Each artwork becomes a destination, each path a story. There is no set route and no right answer — only discovery, creativity and surprise.

The group promotes excellence in textile art, encourages experimentation, and provides opportunities for members to exhibit, collaborate and develop their practice.
