Courtyard Arts is delighted to present Urban Textiles: Creative Journeys, a vibrant summer exhibition showcasing new work by six textile artists: Pat Dennis, Ann Hankins, Annie Rogers, Jenny Sandler, Moira Smith and Catriona Warburton. Their collective display brings together collage, embroidery, collagraphy, printing, quilting, weaving and mixed‑media textile art, offering visitors a rich and varied visual experience.

Formed around 20 years ago after completing a City & Guilds course with tutor Barbara Weeks, Urban Textilesgrew from a shared desire to continue learning, experimenting and supporting one another’s creative development. Based across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, the group meets regularly to exchange ideas, critique work and explore new techniques. Their long-standing collaboration has fostered not only artistic growth but deep friendship.
