Whats On Hertford

Welwyn Garden City Male Voice Choir are celebrating their 90th year and this concert at St Andrew's Church tells the story of 90 years of the Choir, from its inception to the present day.

The Choir was founded in 1935 by a group of Welshmen who had moved to Welwyn Garden City in search of work.

Their repertoire includes songs from shows, spirituals, traditional English, Scottish and Irish pieces; they sing a number of songs in Welsh, maintaining a proud tradition harking back to the Choir's early days. Children's Choir LOGO colour
They will be joined by Hertford Children's Choir who will also sing a few of their own pieces.

There will be a licensed bar from 6.15pm, with the concert beginning at 7.00pm.
