Venue focus: Hertford Town Football Club
Hertingfordbury Park became the home ground of Hertford Town F.C. in 1908 and was gradually developed into a stadium during the 1950s, with the addition of terraces, floodlights, and a new main stand. Today, the ground has a capacity of 6,500 spectators, with limited seating and covered areas. It serves as the home venue for Hertford Town’s men’s, women’s, and youth teams, as well as The Ben Herd Pro Performance Academy.

The men’s team of Hertford Town F.C. plays in the Southern League Division One Central, which is at Step 4 (Tier 8) of the English football league system.
The Stable Enders are known for bringing the noise, waving the blue colours, and creating that classic terrace atmosphere you only really get at non-league grounds.

Hertford Town Women FC currently play in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Division One South. Around Tier 6 of the English women’s football pyramid. The region covers teams mainly from Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, and surrounding areas.
