Hertfordshire punk band The Skive return to Hertford Corn Exchange for a fundraising show in aid of Kidney Care UK. The gig is being held in memory of a close friend and mentor who passed away this year after a fight against kidney failure, with proceeds going towards supporting people living with kidney disease across the UK.

The night features a large line-up of bands, exclusive raffles and cheap drinks. Additional acts are still to be announced.

The Skive are a shed-punk trio from Stevenage — Fred (guitar/vocals), Kyle (drums) and Joe (bass). Known for fast, furious sets and a loyal LGBTQ+ and old-punk fanbase, the band won Juicebox Live's 2025 Battle of the Bands and were runners-up in HotVox's Isle of Wight Festival Competition 2026. Their debut EP, Obnoxious, Aggressive and Disgusting, takes aim at pub culture, the cost of living and politicians. They have shared stages with Buzzcocks, Bilk and Kid Kapichi.
