Smoove & Turrell hail from Newcastle, England and were formed in 2009 by DJ/producer Smoove along with vocalist John Turrell and keyboardist Mike Porter. After creating a buzz with their debut single 'I Can't Give You Up', the group were signed by London independent label Jalapeno Records, releasing their debut LP 'Antique Soul'.

With regular plays on the Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show and support from Jazz FM, BBC 6 Music and Sky TV, Smoove & Turrell craft funk and soul anthems built for the dance floor.
