Herts Canoe Cub was founded back in the 70's by George Cherry, who was responsible for training some of the top athletes in the sport at the time. The club has evolved over the years with the turnaround of new volunteers bringing fresh ideas to the club's committee. The one constant has always been to bring paddlesports to the local area in a way that is accessible to everyone by keeping the costs low and the adrenaline as high as one wishes for.
