Joe Wells: Daddy Autism

Critically acclaimed comedian Joe Wells brings his new show to the stage, exploring fatherhood through the lens of neurodiversity — and there's also a really good joke about a parrot. Joe has appeared on Rosie Jones' Disability Comedy Extravaganza, BBC Two's Ouch Storytelling Live, and Channel 4's Jokes Only a Neurodivergent Can Tell. He has been praised by the Guardian as producing 'some of the most surprising and thought-provoking material coming from any comedian' and described by Frankie Boyle as 'one of my favourite comics'.

This is an adult stand-up show containing swearing and adult humour. Accessibility notes: audience members may use phones during the show (no recording), step outside at any time, and move or stim freely. There is no unwanted audience interaction. The show contains some loud noises but no flashing lights. A small amount of visual humour involves text and images on a screen. If you are attending with someone who is visually impaired, you are welcome to quietly describe those elements. This is not a relaxed performance suitable for children. If you have any other accessibility requirements, please speak to a member of staff on the night.
