This October Half Term, the Hertford Castle Greenspace Renewal Project, a National Lottery Heritage Funded Project, are excited to invite children of all ages to participate in a FREE Sensory Trail of Hertford Town and Hertford Castle. The trail will take place from Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November and is designed to engage different senses and is particularly suitable for children with special educational needs or disabilities.

Simply bring a pencil, collect an activity booklet and follow the trail around the Castle grounds and into the Town Centre to discover what you can hear, smell and touch outdoors and amongst nature.

The activity booklet can be downloaded here or collected from the Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre located at the Wash. Please note opening times as follows:

Tuesday-Saturday: 9.30 am - 5.00 pm
