Jo’s creative journey spans social care, education, policing and media, including work with BBC Radio. A self‑taught artist, she has run a life‑drawing group since before the pandemic, co‑hosts the Fatmod and Keith’s Spin Off podcast, and has published poetry. Her practice is rooted in education and the support of children and adults with neurodiversity and mental health challenges. With qualifications in mindfulness and CBT therapies, Jo champions art as a purposeful, accessible tool for wellbeing: “Art of any genre is a valuable emotional release not to be underestimated for its wellbeing effect.”
