The Misfits follows Roslyn Taber, who meets aging cowboy-turned-gambler Gay Langland and former World War II aviator Guido Racanelli while filing for divorce. The two men are quickly drawn to Roslyn, and on impulse the three move into Guido's half-finished desert home together. When grizzled ex-rodeo rider Perce Howland arrives, the unlikely group of four strike up an unconventional business arrangement.
