Corn Exchange23 Jul 2026

Amplify new music nights are events dedicated to showcasing and supporting up-and-coming musicians, giving artists a platform to perform original music and reach new audiences.
Good Time Locomotive (GTL) are a London-based alt pop/rock band blending shimmering synths, funky bass, glistening guitar, driving drums and heartfelt vocals. Their music explores themes of identity, hope and resilience, drawing influence from The 1975 and Don Broco while fusing the spirit of the 80s and 90s with a modern edge. They have worked with Grammy-winning producer Adrian Bushby (Foo Fighters, Muse) and are fast becoming a rising force in the UK music scene.
Ultraviolet are an all-female indie/rock band formed in January 2024 at Monks Walk School in Welwyn Garden City. The four classmates have performed at numerous school music events and concerts, most recently winning their category at House Music.
